McAllen Native Helps Lead Historic Artemis II Mission

McAllen’s own Debbie Korth played a key role in the success of the Artemis II mission, helping guide the spacecraft as Orion deputy program manager at NASA during its 10-day crewed mission around the Moon. A graduate of McAllen Memorial High School and Texas A&M University, she credits her Valley roots and early mentors for shaping her path into aerospace engineering. With future Artemis missions already in progress, Korth is helping lead the next era of space exploration—putting the 956 on the map in a big way. Read More→
