Big win for the 956 — on March 24, McAllen officials celebrated a major milestone as French automotive supplier Valeo broke ground on a new $225 million advanced manufacturing facility, the largest single industrial investment in Hidalgo County history. The project is expected to bring 500 high-skilled jobs in engineering, finance, and logistics, signaling a real shift toward a more high-tech, future-ready Valley economy. Read More→

Meet Bella— a young, playful Shepherd mix who’s been waiting far too long for her second chance. After being returned due to her owner’s health, Bella has struggled in the shelter, but outside the kennel she’s a totally different dog: happy, social, and full of life, getting along great with other dogs and loving every moment of freedom.
